Is it me, or does the 2nd Gen MINI have more ground clearance than the 1st Gen? The side skirts and jack mount points look like they're further from the ground. I need to find someone with a stock rideheight 1st Gen to know for sure. Does anyone here know if I'm seeing things correctly?

 

Someone else can probably tell you more specifically what you're looking for, but I know the factory specs say the R56 is 1 or 2 inches higher.

 

It definitely looks higher to me. Just get some new springs to take care of that.
