Can anyone tell me if they are able to keep the same ride height as stock with the Megan Euro coilovers? I just talked to a vendor and was about to purchase, but he said it will drop it at least .5-1"?!?! I'm holding off for now because I want to keep the same ride height as stock (r52 JCW).
The only confirmation I've found is at WMW's website: https://www.waymotorworks.com/megan-...coilovers.html - but I dont trust it really since its the only place listing this and it appears that all coilovers do at least a .75" drop!?

Coilovers are typically adjustable - that's the whole benefit. If you look at your mini right now, it's got a "coil over" in that the spring goes around the shock, it's just many aren't adjustable. So you should be able to maintain stock ride height.
In terms of how low you can go before rubbing is a function of tire size. My car is about 1" low and with my 215/45R17 tires no issues, but my 225/50ZR16 track wheels, tons of rubbing (taller, wider tire).
I had the megan EU's (newest version) and the advanti dst storm 17x7 - there was ample room - 2-3 fingers if memory serves. You can do some homework and look up the advanti dst storm offsets compared to stock. I think they are pretty close.

The 17x7 Storm wheels come in a +40 or +35 offset, stock is +44. The Storms would be the equivalent of running an 8mm or 13mm spacer on the stock wheel.
I am on euro 2's and 16's no rubbing and the car is as lower than just about the end.
Like the ride it is a little stiff but serves me well, no spacers and I have a 35et wheels.

I think you guys are missing the point of the original question... Do you need spacers with OEM wheels? Claiming “No spacers are needed!”, then following with your ‘aftermarket’ wheels specs doesn’t answer the original question.
I just installed the Euro II's on my MCS vert 07 and have the stock 17" and did not need any spacer front or back. Also, had no issues with my Wilwood BBK. The only glitch is that now I have to severely raise the height all around. Went to get an alignment and the shop informed me that the car was too low for the system even with special ramps for lowered cars. Yet I am not bottoming out ... Yet.
What are you guys running for end links? I plan on lowering my R53 about 2 inches and heard of people running into issues with stock end links hitting the LCAs.
I found that the instructions for setting spring sag were misleading and led to riding on the bump stops with a very harsh ride. I found instructions in this forum somewhere that led me to tune them with more preload which cause them to ride higher in teh stroke with a better ride. Still though, I wish they had more travel. It's not slammed, I think my drop is about 1.25", maybe 1.5". If I adjust the dampers down in the middle setting the smaller bumps feel fairly good but it's very bumpy over larger bumps and slams pretty hard on nasty ones. This is even after installing micro-cell bump stops. Setting the dampers almost to full stiff, especially in front, results in a ride that's stiffer over the small stuff but much less bouncy over big bumps because it's keeping me off of the bump stops.
In the end, I'm not real happy with them. I thought the benefit of coil overs would be to have it somewhat lower and still have reasonable travel because of being able to lower the ride height and adjust the springs separately. Instead I think they feel more like struts with short springs.
Coming in a bit late to the game - I purchased a set of these back in April 2017. I've put about 15,000 miles on them without issue. I've also run them on the track (Laguna Seca and Thunder Hill) without any trouble, the car handles fantastically! I run them at the 13th tooth on the damper setting and 1/4" spring preload. They are stiff. I only lowered it about 1.5 inches so I can continue to go over speedbumps without issues. Due to the short throw - my rear passenger tire does come off the ground occasionally when entering some of the dips into shopping center parking lots LOL.
