It's rainy and cool here today but the MINI lives in a garage. Drove about 1/4 mile and the tire pressure warning light went on - turns out to be false alarm as tires pressures are spot on.

Short time later, stop at the post office to drop a package, and when leaving the rear wiper decides it's not going to work anymore. Spray works, no wiper in any switch position. Grr

Get home, back in the garage. For grins, turn the car off then turn just the key for power. Rear wiper is all cool again

WTF?

I've heard of issues with the tire monitor but the wiper would seem otherwise unrelated... no?

 

That's called --auto break-auto fix.
