Hi all

Does anybody's fan turn on a lot, even when you switch off the engine? I realise my engine is quite hot hence the fan always turns itself on.

I have never seen this in any other cars before. Please advise...

 

If it goes on after yo park the car, and goes off a few minutes
later, it is perfectly normal. It can even come on 2 or 3 times
while the engine heat gets blown away afte the car is parked.

Funny, this happened to me and it was my first time noticing. I was on mountain roads and pushing at high speeds then went to park for a few minutes and the fan never turned off in those few minutes till i got fed up with it and put hte key back in, turned it to position on, and the fan stops right then b/c of it..

 

I think it's better to let the fan do it's job cooling things down
properly than to get it to turn off, and let things under the hood
get too hot.
