Strange new vibration

As of this AM, Basil has developed a driveline vibration. It feels like a high-frequency "ratcheting", similar to ABS kicking in, but milder.
It seems to be engine related, as when I declutch and coast, I don't feel it.
Also at the same time, my boost gauge has gone a bit wonky.
Where previously I would run ~8-10 in/hg at freeway speed, now I'm getting 2-5 in. Also, very quick to go to boost at the lightest throttle application.
I'm guessing the BPV may have something to do with it, but that's just a guess.

Help?

hmmm by what the boost gauge is doing it would seem like a BPV. but i have never heard of a BPV causing a vibration. hwere do you feel the vibration? do you feel it through the pedals, steering wheel, floor, seat, shifter, etc? can you hear the vibration or just feel it?

Bryan, thanks for the reply. The vibration is felt, more than heard, through all points mentioned. Also seems constant, not RPM-variable, but I could be mistaken there. I'll test it some more today and try to pin it down.
I did recently change tires to non-RF, but have ~600 miles on them before this popped up.

i am getting the same thing in my 2006 mcs. a rumble when the engine is a drag on the wheels. ie. not when accelerating, not when clutching.

it feels like abs, or like driving on a rumble strip.

did you find a solution? any ideas?

i thought i was going crazy mine started doing that recently, and i thought it was tie-rod ends but it makes no sense that when accelerating it stops, but when i let off it starts again and if i am at a constant speed such as flat ground and cruise control it does it but only right around 90 mph or so?
