magnetic drain plug

Does anyone know a vendor that sells magnetic drain plugs for the BMW MINI ?

I did search and found many questions about magnetic drain plugs, but no mention of a place that sells them.

I have always used them on my cars and want to put one on the MINI as well.

If you can't find one anywhere else, "bimmerbum" has them on eBay for about $9 shipped. Check out item #170045954146.

I've ordered from him before, and he's good to deal with.

I made my own. Drilled a stock MINI drain plug and pressed in a cylindrical neodymium magnet.

I have only noticed the slightest 'dusting' on the magnet. It wipes off with a rag leaving a dark smudge on the cloth, which usually means they are super-fine iron particles. It feels more like thick oil than actual particles. Nothing big found there. Yet.
