I need to buy a New Battery for our 2003 MC. Need advice;
1. Any suggestions on Brands i should buy?
2. After installing a new Battery, are their any resets that need to be done on the Electronics? Thanks;

i recommend you go to sears and get their diehard battery if daily driven.
if a weekend car, try a deep cycle battery from Optima.

my 03 mcs is on its original battery. in the winter time, i charge it every
2 weeks (in fact, my car's on a charger right now. ) i dont foresee it
dying anytime soon.

you will need to reset the clock and radio settings if it's been drained
for a long time. as far as ecu, it will be reset if drained.

you need a new battery already???

Interstate have good batteries, and up here, the warranty on yours would be 2 yr free - 75 month wet = 2 yrs totally free.. after that if anything happens, up to 75 month pro-rated. Not sure if different south of the border.

If you have a friend, or know of someone that has a booster pack, plug it into ur cig lighter to retain your settings.

an 03 needing a battery? not bad. Here in the Arizona desert, it's typical to replace a battery every 2 years or so. Never had an Optima, but may consider when I need to replace the bat. on my 06....
