The boot / bonnet open alarm keeps going off even though both are securely closed. To make it even more fun, there are time the warning alarm goes off at about 300 beats per minute... for two hours straight on the way home. When it goes into psyco mode, the light on the dash does not come on.

It seems as though one of the switches isn't getting fully activated and any little movement will cause the alarm to go off.

Any easy fix here???? Anything to look for.

Try unplugging the hood switch, or the rear deck switch and see if the car will allow it to arm. If so, try to get the car alarm to siren. If it does not siren, you found the problem with the switch that is unplugged.
