Sporadic door unlocking, relocking...

My 06' MCS has been to the dealer once for a reprogram of the auto door lock function. The car locks itself once accelerated to ~10mph just fine. When driving city/highway the gremlins randomly unlock the doors. Then accelerating from a stop they relock. This nonsense goes back and forth. It appears to be a regular occurance on tuesdays accompanied with >70% humidity on the eve of a full moon. Seriously though the dealer is stumped on a fix, anyone had this problem? Hopefully, there is a true fix besides deprograming the auto lock function.

Door lock Gremlins

I think I have had a similar issue, only I think my Gremlins were trying to help out. For the 1st 10,000 miles I had the car the doors would consistently unlock during sustained high-G manuevers (on-ramps, nice sweepers, etc.). I figured the Grems thought I was about to wreck and may want to consider bailing out For the last 15,000 miles, however, I believe I earned their trust because it hasn't happened. I asked the service guy at the dealer about it and he was useless (Good ol' Pete, same guy that told me I didn't have to add a quart of oil because "there were 4 more in there" )

The gremlins are at bay with spirited driving, it happens when on the highway with cruise on/off as well as sustained city speeds; there really is no consistency.

My wife's 06 just started this same thing. I guess I should have read further down the list of 'search' threads before posting a new one!

I had this issue with my boot latch last year after driving home from work in a snow storm. It would go back at forth, then really quick like a machine gun, click click click....... The dealer said some salty water got into the wiring & messed it up, could be a similar issue. They replaced the latch mechanism.
