Where'd the whine go?

I just realized I don't hear my supercharger whine like i used to when the car was new. Is it just that i'm used to it and not paying attention I wouldn't think that i'm just used to it... it just seems to have vanished. Does anyone else with a SC not hear theirs either?

Throw a reduced pully on it, intake and remove the plastic wall piece btween the intake and firewall area and you should be able to hear it loud and clear.

I bought my car slightly used but since then I havent seen my SC whine reduce in volume at all.

I read once of this odd relation of colder weather and the reduction of supercharger whine..I partly find this to be true.
