Leaking Brake Master Cylinder?

Hey guys, Anyone have any problems with a leaking brake master cylinder? I hear too much air after braking when the brake pedal readjusts. Anyone have any problems with the brake master cylinder? Thanks in advance!

Ya know, now that I think about it, I might have the same problem. I hear quite a bit of air too. I guess it could be the master cylinder. What year is you MINI joedude?

2003 Mcs

I have a 2003 MCS. My MCS is about to go off warranty and I'm paranoid about them not fixing eveything they find.

50K End of Warranty - Independent Mechanic?

MINI told me yesterday that if I bring my car in for service and it's a hair over 50K then they won't touch it, and they weren't very flexible about getting me a quicker appointment. I'll get a rental if I need to, but I think I can make it till my june first appointment.

I sensed bad blood, and now I'm not so sure I trust them to find everything that needs to be fixed. At 50K, I've never even had the brake pads switched. Any advice?

I'm thinking about having an independent mecehanic look at it before it goes back to MINI for the last time. Any thoughts?
