No offense taple but by the way you described what you did tells me you should leave the wrenching to someone else.

We've all had days that were smoother than others. And how do you get GOOD at this, without doing it!

Sheeze, you should have seen what I had to do to get my subframe back up. It didn't just jack into place, I got creative with the floor jack, and some wood from the firewood pile to get the parts into place. Something you'd only see in an episode of Jackass! (BTW, I still have all my fingers and toes...)

Sorry if I don't live up to your standards. I'll go cry myself to sleep now.

Don't take it so personal but using a claw hammer to take the plastic cover off is just wrong.

I don't understand why the sways would make your car run stiffer over bumps?? I have sways on my other car and never noticed the difference in ride quality. The only think I noticed is when I enter a parking lot with a steep incline at an angle, the rear inside tire will lift off the ground. Without the sways, it doesn't lift (though the Mini lifts with the stock sways on it).

Over level pavement with bumps on it, there really shouldn't be much difference in ride quality unless one side is going over a bump and the other is not...

while driving it later on.
