I'd like to adjust my clutch so that is engages/releases closer to the floor - it feels way too high for me now. This is a trivial thing in most older cars (e.g. my '69 Alfa), but I'm guessing might be more involved in a MINI.

Has anyone made this adjustment? If so, some advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I haven't looked but there's usually an adjustment nut on the rod connecting the pedal arm to the master cylinder. Crawl up under the dash with a flashlight and take a look. If there's no adjustment there, I'd guess the slave cylinder would have to be movable.
