On a Cooper (non-S) next to coolant expension tank and just above the engine oil cap there is another black reservoir that is round with a cap with a green ring on it with words "USE CHF 11S ONLY". While it is illustrated in the manual, there is no mention of what it is or proper care. Cas some one shed some light on this?

 

Jerry, most likely it's the hydraulic fluid tank for the power steering.
