6 speed conversion

Its pretty much a fact that the 5 speed tranny on a MC can not hold that much power, and we know that the 6 speed can. All the threads i have read about the swap just say its difficult, but i want to know why. I would love to get more power out of the Cooper but i dont want a new tranny... again. So beside locating a 6 speed tranny what else would be need to get it inside of a cooper, because i would love having an extra gear and be able to handle more power.

it's difficult cause the imput shaft is different, as well as the pressure plate, clutch...etc and so are the the axels...so...I guess it's not really difficult but expensive

so the actual labor part is not that hard. It just locating all the parts. So pretty much it would not just be the tranny your changing but everything that goes with it also?
