I need some help or advise

I have been searching old threads and reading them is scaring me. My Service Engine Soon light came on about a week ago, I called for sevice but they can't get me in until the 11th. I also noticed oil leaking under the car. What scared me though was other owners saying because of the mods the warranty is null. I have had the Boral exhaust since April, but I just had the Moss intake put on. Could this have caused the problem or am I just panicky

help

I have never heard of an intake or exhaust causing an oil leak, unless they put a hole in something. Did they install the intake with a hammer? I am not trying to be condescending, I just can't think of any real way that an intake or exhaust install could cause an oil leak.

Get ready to hear that the intake and exhaust caused it, though, because some dealers will say it. I believe you will be OK and get it fixed without difficulty.

Cool, I used to swing by there from time to time and drool over all the cars. I am going to try to take my wife up there this weekend so she can see some of the colors. We are looking into getting a second MINI sometime next year. Good luck when you get there. If they try and get stupid just PM me and I will go ask them how the Intake or Exhaust caused the problem.
