I need the a short end of a wiring harness that hooks up to the light. Mine was damaged some time ago. I thought that I could pickup a new one from the dealership but that requires a wiring harness assembly (BIG $$$). A simple in line splice will fix the problem. The problem with that is the wrecking yards here have no MINIs (to part out anyway). Anyone know where I can get the fixture that hooks to the light with 3 or four inches of wire on it? Failing that is there another BMW product that uses the same connector? I have VA auto insp coming up. The car will not pass if the light (for the right rear side marker) does not work.

John, Maybe a long shot but maybe you could PM MarkBradford and see if he is willing to part with his harness (seeing that he is no longer using his side markers).

Thanks for the help. I went to a local shop and they were able to get the part from the dealer. I knew something had to be out there but did not know how to explain that to the person at the counter, she was new. Hopefully the next person will have better luck.
