Driver side window not working
Driver side window not working
Driver side window doesn't respond to the switch, the passenger side and the sun roof are OK. Any help or suggestions? The window does not drop the quarter inch or so when the door is opened. Thanks
That happened to my '04 MC last week for about an hour...now is fine. This has been talked about before..apparantly you can hit the inside if the door panel, in between the two speakers and it will work again...like Fonzie. I called the dealer and they confirmed about hitting the door panel or just closing the door hard...that's what I did I think. He told me it may just be one of those one time things, but if it happens again they'll replace the motor........but how do you tell if it is the motor, the regulator or the switch??
Hi LRogers
There was a write-up on motoringfile.com a little while ago regarding faulty window motors. The address is: http://www.motoringfile.com/2005/08/...ow_motor_issue
I hope this helps

umberto, thanks for the information. When I drove to work this morning all was fine. I didn't close the door any differently than normal last night, I have made it a habit to close the door rather than "slamming it". Although that can be tempting at times. Just going to have to wait and see if it happens again.
