Turbo Mini Cooper.

Does anyone here have any experience with turbocharging their Mini Cooper? Was it difficult? How much psi are you running? Is it safe for the engine?

I know turbo-kits.com offers a turbo for the mini cooper which only supplies 6psi, but i'm not sure if the regular cooper can handle it because it has the cast pistons vs. the forged ones that are in the cooper S.

Any info on this matter will be much appreciated.

first year bugs.

don't wanna spoil your fun, but it's never a good idea to buy a first year model. wait for the '08, so that way at least most of the "bugs" are worked out. anyway; is the next generation supposed to have a turbo on the regular cooper, or is that just for the S?
