Timing belt or chain on the MCS engine?

Does the MCS engine use a timing belt or chain? Is it an interference engine? What is the recommended service interval for the belt/tensioner if it indeed uses one? Do people generally follow the recommended interval or do it sooner?

Thanks!

Timing chain. I don't think there is a recommended service interval for replacing it. Accessory/SC belt is recommended at 60,000.
