Ive done the search before anyone ask's,
on a very hot day if I switch on the AC its the manual version there is a terrible whine at about 3k from the engine and goes away when I switch off the AC as I said ive tried searching here and Mini2 but no solution or fix
anybody got any info on this problem????????????

 

I hear the a/c when it is on, kind of cycles, I hear it more when the recirc is on. But it is not terrible, just sounds like it's working.

Did you find out anything about your AC whine? Mine does the exact same thing. The posts on the other NAM streams speculate but don't really say one way or another.
