Hello,

Has anyone else experienced sluggish performance in extremely humid environments? We are going through a brutal heat and humidity wave at the moment. I have a noticeable decrease in performance in first and second gears. Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated. I have not contacted dealer yet.

Are you using the A/C? That has shown to cause a big drag on the engine.

 

Hot air is less dense and you can't burn humidity...

 

04 LY Cooper owner, it is sluggish when a/c is on. Not only that, the engine makes a humming noise under acceleration.

I may just be really picky because i bought a courtesy car, but it's at the dealership for a few things, and i intend to ask about the a/c noise. The mini makes noises i never heard on a car before, and i like to know why they think these noises/feelings are normal :P
