I did my first oil/filter change at 2210 miles using Redline.

So which Redline oil do I get for 15k miles?? And anyone know where in West L.A. I can get some?

You want 5W-30. Try Advance Auto Parts. They are dropping RedLine due to low sales.(at least around here.) I got some off the clearence shelf for $5.50. It's usually about $7-8.00. Skip the Puralator filter, unless you can see some kind of plastic cage inside the filter to prevent the filter from collapsing. WIX and the OEM filters do have it. It may or may not matter, but...

BTW-If you DIY you will need a 36mm wrench or socket. I'm sure MINI has a special tool, but I don't have a part #.
