Caution Light and Tire Light ON!

About a month ago, right after a spirited run, the caution light and tire low light came on steady. Turning off the car and adjusting tire pressure did not resolve issue. The after about 5 minutes of driving the 2 lights went out and no problem again til last night. Again, after a bit of tire smoking, both lights come on steady. This time, after several several miles of travel and a number of full shutdowns, both lights are staying on. I don't like using the DSC anyway, but I like to keep the car fully functional. Anyone have any ideas?

I know taking it to the Dealer is the obvious solution, but requires me to take a vacation day to get to the other side of the world.

In my MCS the tire light comes on if I really play hard, especially if I get some tire hop. The button under the ebrake resets it.

If a caution like and the lower tire pressure light come on together then there might be a real problem some where. If you don't have time to worry about it then do as Veni_Vidi_Vici said and just reset the light. There is no need for cutting the car off and on.

It's the steering angle sensor. Get it fixed.

Just had mine replaced Thursday. If that is really what it is it will not let you reset the tire indicator! Heard it was a high dollar part, luckly got mine done under warranty.

Thanks for the responses.

The reset button has no effect on the problem when it occurs. When rebooting (switching off the car and back on again), the 2 lights will stay on for a short time and then go off when the car is driven for a short distance. The steering angle sensor seems to be the likely candidate. Now, to figure out how to make the lights come on for the mechanic to witness is another thing. Any chance, an error code is stored?
