Vibration betw 2k-3k

I just picked up my new '05 MCS last Tuesday. I've noticed that there is some sort of harmonic vibration or resonance that starts at about 2000 RPM and lasts until about 3000 RPM, and can be felt slightly in the gas pedal. Is this typical for the MCS, especially the '05s? Possibly a motor mount issue?

Does it matter what gear you are in?

Is it speed or RPM related? Makes a difference...

I first started noticing it when I would shift into 5th gear at about 43 mph (on a flat road at steady speed), which translates to about 2100-2200 RPM. Yesterday, while I sat in my driveway and, with the clutch in and the car in neutral, I'd rev the engine slowly up to about 3500 RPM. I could hear and feel a roughness/vibration/resonance that started at around 1900 RPM and would smooth out after reaching 3000 RPM. I just wanted to see if other MCS owners encounter this same situation in their cars (and thus might be considered "normal") or if this is something I should be pointing in my next visit to the dealer, which should be next week.

I'm not seeing this in my 2005 MCS. I'd recommend you contact the dealer.

Mine one does it. I can feel it through the seats. I always thought it was the exhaust.

Can anyone else tell if theirs does it and if its considered normal?

Thanks,
Luke

I have an opinion about driving at 2,200 rpm. in 5th gear. I think that's lugging the engine. Feeling the vibration while the car is in neutral is another matter.
