The wife was driving and she said it just turned off, like the key was turned off. She had to take the key out and then restart it, she said the radio (aftermarket) was back to the default settings. I pulled the codes with a Snap On scanner and this is what I got.
ECM 316AH/12650 Undocumented Code
ABS 5E19 CAN: Data Error From Engine ECU.
I have not been able to find these codes online, any ideas?
Very weird that DSC errors came up. Something tells me those errors are the effect of the sudden cut-off and not the cause of it.
I would suggest checking all the connections on the battery, alternator and fuse blocks to make sure something isn't loose.
My E82 had a recall for a similar issue that involved upgrading the connection where the main cable from the battery attaches to the main fuse block (technically the JBE module in that car.)
