Stock Problems/IssuesDiscussions related to warranty related issues and repairs, or other problems with the OEM parts and software for MINI Clubman (R55), Cooper and Cooper S(R56), and Cabrio (R57).
We have a unique 2013 mini yours "leather" finish (nor real leather on the dashboard) and the foam padding is giving out underneath.
Does someone know a good way to stick it back in place?
I don't want to take it appart and I'm thinking of finding some form of syringe and glue and inject it under the vinyl like material, through the stitching, but I'm not too sure what product to get for this.
Super glue like product will harden and may eat through the foam making the area flat. Foam like product might create bulges.
Does someone have some other idea(s)?
It's hard to think of some glue that might be able to squeeze through a syringe of sort.
For those curious about what I'm talking about with the MINI YOURS interior, this is what it looks like. The area I'm talking about is right in front of the speedo.
