I have a 2006 R52s automatic. The transmission has been removed because it was bad. The engine is supposed to be good. I put a good battery in the car and tried to start it. It did nothing. The radio, windows and top work as they should. The shifter is in park and won’t move. Would there being no transmission cause the engine to not turn over? Is there a sensor etc. the PCM is looking for? I bought the car for the amp, the convertible top module and I’m hoping to part out the rest of the car.
