a r53s radiator does fit on a non s r50 just with minor mods Mini Cooper non S on left where blue glove is Mini Cooper S/JCW on right
You need to Trim the top elbow to match the r50 You need to take a Dremel to trim top upper radiator elbow to be straight like the r50 Add some washers to the top hole , RTV the o ring and it works for the temporary it needs The bottom r50 lower connector is held on by two 8mm and a o ring inside which you take off and just trim to fit
