Hot unless AC is cranked

Anyone run across this issue? Got a Bluetooth obd reader. Car runs hot like 210 hot unless AC fan is all the way full. Once full fan is on, Car runs at 180, the second you bring it off full it goes back to 210, but if you switch it back to full it cools down. Haven’t tried max ac this is just with normal ac

Depending on year and model you are fine. Mine runs around 220 when cruising and when the ac is on full blast it will run down in the 170’s.

No kidding, I guess it’s not throwing a warning. Thanks for the info

Seriously, I have bleed and replaced a lot of cooling parts since April and even before then my temps have always been there. On hot humid days it will hit 225-230 just sitting there if I don’t have ac on full blast.

Modern cars are typically designed to run hotter, it helps with efficiency. Unless it's throwing a warning it should be fine.

I believe if you turn on sport mode it'll drop the temps as well, but I've never verified this.

My 2011 MCS runs at 226 or so unless I have Sport mode AND Max A/C on, then it settles at around 180.
