Need gas cap o-ring seal

Please don't give me a bad time about this post, I searched for a couple days in here and came up with nothing

There was a thread that someone had a bad O-ring on their gas cap, someone posted a replacement O-ring that you could get from Amazon.....I either need the thread link or the Amazon O-ring link please

Thanks, Bryan

This might have been the thread you were remembering:

https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...-seal-fix.html

Stated part =
Dash 326 O-ring

Also,
a few days ago,
PJJ wrote in that same thread:

"This 6-year-old thread really came in handy for me. Recently I got a Check Engine Light. The issue according to the code was a leaky gas cap seal. I took your advice, went to Ace Hardware and purchased the O-Ring for only 69 cents! Swapped out the cracked seal with the generic O-Ring in about a minute and the problem was solved... no more Check Engine Light.

The size O-Ring that worked for my R53 Mini: 1 5/8" inside diameter x 2" outside diameter.

Thanks, Eric for this simple and inexpensive tip."

Check the plumbing section at Lowe's. They sell a package of larger o-rings in different sizes.

Is this what you’re looking for, or a generic o-ring?

7 years later and my original O-ring fix is still working just fine! Glad I was able to help out some folks. My new gas cap/seal is still in the spare parts bin.
