temporarily yellow car-on-lift pop-up symbol

When I put the key in the ignition, a yellow car-on-lift symbol temporarily pops up for about 10 seconds, then disappears. Car drives fine otherwise.

Service Info shows same car on lift symbol 4600 mls @ 04/2021, coolant 06/2021, oil 7000 mls @ 08/2021, brakes front and rear 36000 mls, double S symbol 08/2037.

Pushing the BC stalk to Check Info shows picture below.

Thank you for your help.

According to the manual...

Maybe your brake light bulbs are out?

Thanks, Nic, for the page from the owners manual and suggesting a solution. I'll check the brake lights tomorrow and get back to you.

Forgot to say, 2013 S hatchback.

No problem with brake lights.

Car runs find otherwise so no problem with fuel supply or drive malfunctioning.

Infuriating and will not result in positive reviews/referrals if I have to pay a Mini dealer to diagnose this idiot light!

Thanks again for your help.
