Code P0138 - 02 Sesnor

Hello all!

To give you a backstory, I had a misfire in cylinder 4, and a P0138 which is Bank 1 Sensor 2 O2 Sensor (High voltage) which was determined through my OBD2 reader.
To fix the misfire, I changed the coil, plugs, and wires. The problem is fixed, but I still have the O2 code (obviously),
I was wondering if I got this code because of the misfire (dumping fuel) and if seafoam/taking out the O2 sensor and cleaning it with sensor kleen would fix it.
The price from the dealer is $250, and on amazon they are 50. I was wondering if anyone has opinions on the cheaper one, or have used it with no issues.
Should I take it out and clean it, or buy one off amazon... I've read on this forum that people disagree with taking it out and cleaning it, and just want some more opinions

Thanks!

Wow, the Stealership must be having a sale, usually it's 10X the after market price.

Can't speak to this specific issue but in general would steer clear of Amazon brand names you've never heard of before and can't pronounce, the ones that offer cheap Chinese garbage, questionable 'emerging market' sourced alternatives.

And, there are other better priced places than Amazon to get more reliable aftermarket brands.

I wouldnt recommend cleaning O2 sensors, as they are very delicate sensors. I replaced both O2 sensors with cheap alternatives, both around around 50 USD and they perform well. I passed MOT without any issue

Thanks for the replies!

I ended up taking it out and cleaning it...The engine light came back on. I am going to replace it from one with rock auto. The car is running fine, just guzzling more fuel!
