2009 Cooper S FRM Module

Hi guys, I need some help.
So my driver side window doesn't always go up and down and BMW showed me it's my FRM module which previous owner removed a wire from the harness and drilled into the FRM and attached the wire directly to the module and then wraped the module in a bag. I assume water must of corroded the wire and they are trying to prevent it from happening again.

I think I should just replace the whole module. Is it possible? I guess I'd need harness pigtale. Are all FRM modules from 2009 mini coopers the same, or do I need to match numbers? Pig tails should be the same too no?

Any help would be awesome.

The safest approach is matching the part number, if not then match by car options/type specially headlights. the pigtails might be the similar but again watch out for headlight type.

what is the part number on your module and is it FMR3? I might be able to clone it for you.

Sorry, I contacted my local mechanic, he told me which numbers to look for, already ordered the FRM...I think it's an FRM 2...does that make sense? What's the difference between FRM 2 and 3?
