2009 Convertible weird smell on hard acceleration

I'm having this issue whenever you are under hard acceleration i get this smell in the car that smells like garbage. Is it possible its coming from the exhaust & the converter is plugged? Anyone else ever have this happen? I have no check engine lights & seems to run fine. I've checked the balancer & its fine.

Un-burned gasoline being converted by the catalytic converter. Your car likely could use a tune-up, new plugs, more air into the piston, or something to improve overall explosion efficiency in the piston. It is not something severe enough necessarily to push an error code if it is a lot of little things...mostly age related.
