Front Hub Replacement Procurement
Front Hub Replacement Procurement
So I'm in the process of purchasing some front hubs for my 2011 R56 and want some advice on what to purchase.
I cannot afford hubs from the dealer, so I've trawled the internet for some options.
FCP Euro shows NTN and Rein as OE. There is a huge price difference between the two. The Reins run $76 each while the NTNs run $192 each.
ECS Tuning has some Columbus Day deals too and they've got NTN, Febi, NSK, and Meyle kits.
Anyone had any experience with Rein? It seems they are part of CRP which also owns Continental and Pentosin.

Detroit Axle has them quoted at $256 each and they're out of stock, so that's not much help, unfortunately.
I see they've got a 10 year warranty.
FCP Euro does a lifetime warranty. I'm interested in a quality part, so I don't want to necessarily rely on the warranty.

Interesting because they were much less expensive for my R53. It's up to you but you can find hubs on eBay with 10-year warranties for less than $100/pair. If you had to replace them (it's easy) every few years you'd still come out way ahead.
