I've noticed that my 2009 Clubman S 'comes alive' when it starts rolling even though it was completely off. By that I mean that the is radio comes on and the dash and instruments light up. Since I'm also using my car as a toad for my RV, I'm concerned that this will run the battery down. Does this ever time out or can this be turned on or off through Carly?

It's too bad the brake lights don't work though, that would be nice when the auxiliary braking device engages the brakes! And it's odd that the brake lights don't come on unless the engine is running, not at all like most American cars.
