Window Retaining Star Pegs

Doing my driver's side window regulator. Everything going as planned, except the new regulator (from ECS) seems to have a different thread for where the star pegs screw in. They get super tight after about a half a turn. Tried numerous times with the same result. They crew right into the old ones no problem. Anyone seen this issue before? Thanks in advance.

Hello,
Do you have pics of the regulator and what you are doing?

Thanks for the response; I got it worked out. I had to relearn something I learned long enough ago to forget and I chased both holes in the regulator with an 8x1.25 tap. After that they screwed right on. The tap didn't take that much effort, so I'm not sure what the deal was, maybe too much coating build up from the manufacturing process? For how tight and binding both star pins were initially, I'm surprised this worked to be honest, but thankfully it did.

Welcome, just wanted to make sure everything worked. Yep might have been just from being new and tapping.
