How to access front fog light cavity?

Does anyone know how to access the fog light cavity inside the front bumper of a regular Cooper? Do I have to remove the front bumper cover?

Hold on a dog-gone minute...

(disclaimer = I have an MCS...but I doubt that accessing the fog light bulb is any different on the standard - non-aero - MCS than on a Cooper)

I got at the backside of my fog light by removing the skirting inside of the front fender. This piece of black plastic is held onto the fender via a number of plastic screw things and some rivet-snap things. All are designed to be removed. Remove/unsnap enough of these and you can pull enough of the skirt away so that you can access the back of the fog.

This has got to be easier than removing the bumper!

Depends on what you are doing. If you want to just change the bulb, then you can just take the wheel well out and change it from behind. If you need to remove the foglight housing or retrofit a foglight housing then you are gonna need to take off the front bumper (really not that hard)

good luck
