P0010

Had my engine rebuilt a year and a half ago. Had 6 codes on after that and the mechanic who put it back together wouldn't help figure them out at all. In the end, found out he had the gas purge valve and the Vanos wires switched. All the codes went away but then P0010 popped up. The car doesn't misfire anymore and runs great as far that I can tell. Checked the vanos sensor and the cable is plugged in all the way. The car does surge back and forth very mildly when I step on it. Also checked the vanos for debrie. I would think the car would misfire if the vanos was bad. Does anyone have any ideas?

Could still be the VANOS. When mine went bad, got the surge but not a misfire.
