Radiator fan went out.

So I was driving in stop and go traffic. Looked at my temp gauge and saw it was starting to get hot. So I pulled over and found my fan was not coming on, even with ac turned on. As I looked further into it. I found that the fan was getting stuck. As long as I hit with my finger some it would kick on and stay on. So I decided to replace it. Not bad for 158000 original miles on it.

Are you just letting us know or is there a question? When you saw that the temp was getting warmer, did the gauge slowly climb or spike all of a sudden? Were you able to determine the actual temperature?

just letting people know. If you ever overheat on the toad something to check for. If your temp goes up possible temp fix to get home. I just hit the fan with my finger to kick start it so I could get home safely. It was slowly rising I make a habit to watch my gauges a lot. So I caught it pretty quick. Temp was unknow but it was boiling.
