Hi There,

My R52 S Cooper auto has 200K miles on the clock and still in great condition. I had a transmission problem at 130K which was resolved by replacing the valve body. Now the transmission is slipping between 3rd and 4th with a hard shift into 4th after the delay. My transmission shop in San Diego has closed and I'm looking for another shop in Southern California that is good with Mini transmissions.

Any recommendations? I could take the car anywhere between San Diego and San Luis Obispo.

I believe Jan is in Irvine or where ever RMW is located out of, which is in your range. Last mechanics that I had work on my car were BMW-Mini Md's Upland, CA the guys there did great work with them all having learned from dealerships.
