I just ordered a dye kit, replaced tank, oil cooler, water pump/flange...t-stat last year, radiator 2 years ago.still losing coolant.

Tank holds pressure, but will lose entire volume in about 100 miles. Oil has some, a little shmeg on dipstick, but nothing evident in oil during oil changes (condensation). The lower vent tube looks a little suspect/corroded, but I wish something would just fail so I knew what to fix.

What if any evidence would there be if I were burning that much water?

I just had the front of the engine off to do the timing chain, and again for water pump, I hope it’s not a head gasket. I’m about to hit 166K

 

At those miles it could be the head gasket that does not always result in water in the oil.

 

Coolant update..still leaking somewhere. Losing overflow tank’s worth in about 60-70 miles. Only thing that has not been replaced are the heater hoses. Why do they only sell the kit for the automatic??
Put dye in it, but still cannot find leak. Head gasket done, water pump, flange, tank, oil cooler, radiator about 2 years old. Still getting some condensation sludge on dipstick and cap, but only changed oil once since head gasket replaced. 166,500 miles.
