After driving for about 40 miles my power steering will quit. I can turn off the car and immediately turn it back and power steering is good. I have had fan checked and it is working properly. Thank everyone in advvaad any ideas.

 

Have you checked the connections?

 

Correct fluid level?

Fan would have been my first thought. Overheats and then shuts down. How consistent is the problem?
