Hmm I have not received a letter about this. I tried swapping my turbo, I currently have a JCW installed, but I am getting a similar sound out of this one. I need to do a boost leak test first, when it warms up more. But if I have to spend a weekend swapping the old one back in I will happily do so if it means I get a replacement. Even if I get the JCW rebuilt and upgraded, I want the original to swap back in if I ever sell the car.

I will also mention, they left the Fuel pump off that list of extended warranty parts. I didn't find any information online before bringing it in either. but I have a 2011 N18 motor, that was covered for the HPFP.
