Does anyone have a recommendation for an independent repair shop in San Diego? Close to Kearny Mesa would be convenient, but quality work is most important.

What I need is someone to check a suspension squeak. The dealer recommended that I replace my front "reaction bushings" on my last visit. That was before the squeak started, so not sure if that is the cause or not. But the dealer wants over $1k to do that work. I'm hopeful I can find a good independent shop to take care of this a little cheaper.

 

Ever end up finding someone? I'm near the area and on the lookout for someone as well.

 

There is My Cooper Garage in Miramar Rd. He's probably the best shop in town but he's a bit on the pricey side. If it's suspension work, D&E Alignment in Escondido. They are great and reasonably priced. I take all my cars there for suspension and alignment work. Good luck.
