Cylinder 1 and 4 Misfiring

Hey guys, so I just got my OBD2 reader and I checked what the CEL was throwing at me. Cylinder's 1 and 4 are misfiring. Now, I'm an aspiring DIYer (especially with my Mini) and I'd like to fix this by myself. My first thought was to replace the spark plugs. Of course, I don't want to go wasting money either so I'm here to ask you, is that was is most likely causing the misfire? Bad/old plugs? Is there anything else I should be looking at that could also be causing the misfire or am I right ti assume it's the plugs? Thanks for all your guys' help. You guys rock!

How many miles? Plugs been replaced before? Before you buy new ones, pull 'em and post some pics. How does it drive? A lot of things could cause it (ie coils). Need as much info as you can provide..

It's got a little over 120K miles on it. The plugs/wires have not been replaced since I've had it (August of 2017). I can't pull them right now as it's dark outside and I need to watch a YouTube video or two before hand (to make sure I don't make anything worse) but as soon as I can (probably this weekend), I'll be able to get them up. Also, the codes that come up on my OBD2 reader are P0300 (multiple misfires), P0304 (cyl 1 misfire), and P0301 (cyl 4 misfire).

If not the plugs, it could be one of the coils - you can swap the coils around to identify which one is at fault.

Sounds good. So check plugs, then coils? And I'm assuming by coils, you're referring to the spark wires?

If at 120k miles and they've never been replaced, in any case you're past due to replace plugs. Coils are attached to the spark plugs.
