Hi,

Have a 2007 NON Turbo that has a leaking oil filter housing gasket. The exhaust manifold is blocking access to a couple of the housing bolts. Has anyone gone through this on a NON Turbo? WHat is the best way to get the manifold disconnected and out of the car?

I have found a few threads but were Turbo only.

Any suggestions appreciated!

 

Managed to get the exhaust manifold all disconnected but looking to see hoe to get it out of the car!!

WOn't come out either top or bottom.

Alternator removal? Or maybe try the oil pump housing removal now that I can move the manifold left?

Looking for someone that has gone through this PITA!

 

We put the front end in service mode then pull the manifold. Pretty much the only way to get it out.

 

I just finished this job last night and to add to @WayMotorWorks since you will be removing the exhaust headers, you will need to replace the exhaust headers gasket.
