2002 R50 Tach LEDs not working

Hi, Starting a new thread on this issue.
My Tach is functioning, turn signals work but LED display is out (2 tiny pixels in upper left only). Hence I can't do an ECU reset or see gas milage etc.

Does this sound like a bad TACH? and would replacing the Tach with a new/used one do the trick? Anyone ever experience this "no LED" situation?

Fuses look ok, but not sure about wiring.

thanks for any help :-)

Hi, I'm revisiting this thread I started some time ago. Has anyone experienced a fix for the R50 Tach LEDs not functioning? Might this require a replacement tach unit? Or does this sound like wire harness issues? Cant do an ECU reset with the tach lights out. Thanks guys.

I can infer what you are trying to convey but failed. It would be extremely helpful if you just take a photo and post it. We are in the age of digital imaging where one day of photos taken outnumber of a year's worth only a decade ago.

Sound to me your dot matrix display is kaputt, not LEDs that you represented. If all these dots are dead except the two, obviously you won't see a change by resetting the ECU. Bad tach or bad tech.

Post a photo!
