2008 R56 Throwing Codes P2187, P2195, & P2097

I have a 2008 Mini Cooper automatic base model hatchback (no S or turbo), with 108k miles on it. Recently the engine started to stutter while accelerating, most likely misfiring and some vibrations on the dashboard, more than usual. The misfire can be quite heavy, where I watch my rpms on the dashboard drop, once it has completely dropped to 0 rpm and I had to repower up. When stopped in traffic I can watch my dashboard rpm gauge fluctuate. At some points I can smell it running too rich. The check engine light turned on and I went and got it scanned and it showed codes P2187, P2195, and P2097. Spark plugs were redone last week, oil change a month ago, added injector cleaner about a month ago as well. It has been in no accidents, no other major problems- just getting old. I'm am leaning towards a new O2 sensor for Bank 1- Sensor one. Anyone have any other thoughts or ideas what it could be?

Codes:
P2187: System too lean at idle Bank 1
P2195: Oxygen Sensor Signal Biased/ Stuck Lean Bank 1 Sensor 1
P2097: Post catalyst fuel trim system too rich Bank1

Clear codes and see if they reappear. as you said, it could be an O2 sensor.

My process is to clear the code, and if they come back, then throw parts at the car. In your case, clear the codes, and if they come back, change out the front O2 sensor.

I actually did clear the codes after I replaced the spark plugs last week, and it came back with the same codes. I am leaning towards O2 sensor but I know the need for a carbon clean out can sometimes trigger it as well.

No turbo no carbon N12 is not direct injection hence the 90 HP...but, since it came back, it might've reached its life expectancy.

there is also a chance the PCV is clogged !
